Hollywood’s literal and figurative inaccessibility prevents disabled writers from gaining employment, which is needed to build relationships and opportunities to help hone one’s craft. we are here to help.

1IN4 Coalition Creates 1IN4 Writers, a Mentorship Program for Disabled Writers

1IN4 Writers Mentorship Program (1IN4 Writers) is created to help offset the enormous challenges disabled writers face due to Hollywood’s inaccessibility by supporting writers with access to feedback, resources, and relationships, which are key to career building.
1IN4 Writers was inspired by the amazing work of Dominique Nieves, writer and creator of the Read Latinx Writers Initiative, and an advisory committee of disabled WGA writers Katherine Beattie, Marc Muszynski, and David Radcliff.
